Hello all, I just signed up for Direct tv w/tivo service. I have a couple of questions. Is there a way to set up the tivo w/ my wireless G network? So I can transfer recorded shows to my PC and burn them to DVD. Second is there a way to increase my hard drive space?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I want to ensure I don't waste my money. I have a SAMSUNG SIR-S4040R (DirecTv/Tivo setup). I want to save programs from Now Playing list to DVD, however, I'm a little skittish about buying a DVD recorder, hearing horror stories of crappy quality at 4 hour recording speed, and 5 hours to record a 1 hour program! Any of this true? What would be the most compatibel DVD Recorder to use with my Tivo unit? How about hook ups? S-Cable, RCA, etc...
Any advice would be great! - JN

I recently have been having problems with my DISH network 310 reciever. It's an odd problem because nothing will work that involves a hard drive... I can't get the programming guide, I can't access the dvr ( It will just say data not available) and of course I can't rewind live tv.. all I can do is change channels and even to do that I have to go into the menu and go to point sigularity and cancel it EVERYTIME I turn it on, then I get a black screen so I have to scroll up or down to get the channels. I got the reciever pretty much for Free considering it was part of the agreemant ( you know the one where you have to pay the 49.99 activation fee but get that credit on ur bill) and when I called them about getting a replacement, or possibly upgrading to a 2 room system they said I have to BUY it now. I was wonderinging if anyone has had a similar problem with their DVR?

I just dumped my $85 a month TimeWarner HD DVR. All I really watch is HD content from network TV. Now I need a HD DVR Box with a tuner built in. Is there any others besides the LG LST-3410A? -- Cord
