Replay TV Archives?

I have been a Replay TV user for years.  In August my Replay 40 hour hard drive crashed.  I went to Circuit City and bought a Reconditioned out of box 80 hour machine.  Last week when I was on vacation, where I was hoping Replay was taping all my shows, I lost number two.  Seems the hard drive was gone here too.  Does anyone know how to unload or even just watch the shows on the hard drives of either machine using an external device or another computer?

The drive are formatted specifically for the ReplayTVs. Unless you are into low-level partitioning utilities on Linux, you will not have much luck extracting the data without using a RTV to mount the disks.

You do know you can strip off the shows from the RTV to a PC/Mac using DVArchive? If you run that nightly then you will not lose stuff due to a crash.

You should be asking yourself why so many hardware failures. Fluctuating voltage? Pets peeing on them? Lots of smoke/dust?

Just a quick note here. I too was having a problem finding the code for an ilo tv with the Dish Network remote. Since I didn't believe it possible that none of the codes would work, I started trying random numbers figuring that all i needed was one to control the power (hopefully the volume as well). My wasted time paid off! code 720 controls at least the power and volume with the dish 3.2 remote.

Hope this helps someone, boy it took a while.

The Code for the Ilo Tv remote is 0463, I used on a One for All brand universal remote and It worked. Code is 0463!!

I have not found a code that works with my ilo tv with the at&t/dish homezone remote anyone know that code? I tried 720 and 0463 they didnt do it either.... using two remotes is a pain. HELP.... THANKS, GREG

the Ilo brand is made by Funai Corp. and sometimes that is how it is listed in the codes so try that.

I just bought a 32" iLo TV from Wal-Mart. I have the xbox 360 universal remote, and I was wondering what the code was to get it working w/ my new TV. It's not listed on xbox.com.

THANK YOU so much!!! The remote on my iLo tv set broke about 6 months ago and I've been without a remote since. After searching in vain for months for a replacement, I bought the One For All remote the other day since it said gauranteed to work with any TV, I figure what do I have to lose. I bought the ilo 32 lcd tv 3 1/2 months ago and tv is getting lines on the screan. I called walmart they wont take it back. Called a company to fix it and they cant get parts form ilo company. I spent alot of money for a tv that didn't even last 4 months. Thought I would say something for people looking to buy one.
