TiVo in Canada?

What's the status on TiVo being available in Canada? Any news on that? I'm sure there are THOUSANDS of Canadians who would love something like this (and ARE waiting for it!)

Yes I have checked these out a long time ago, but it'd be nice to actually have the service here in Canada... legally and all.

We here in Canada are becoming fed up with being second fiddle to the United States. Do you think we are so stupid that we would not be able to operate such a 'press the button' item?

Please be aware that we here in Canada can operate a Progreammable Electric Coffee Machine, a PS 2, and even the totally outdated VCR!!!!!!!!!!!

Please make us feel that we are at least going to get TIVO, or at least a date where TIVO might possibly be available to us???

I am from Montreal, and I am thinking of crossing the US border to buy a Tivo. Would that work with our local cable? I presently have digital cable with Videotron.
Do you think they will start selling the box here?

You can now buy Tivo in Canada! PVR Source is a retailer out of Calgary who sells Tivos here in Canada. I bought mine from them and love it! If you don't want to worry about duty and shipping check it out www.thepvrsource.com
